Frequently Asked Questions

How many costumes will I have to buy?

Just ONE! That’s right, you have one costume payment all year due by Halloween. The costume fee covers the costume, as well as, the tights (and sometimes the headpiece).

Is the recital fee the same as the costume fee?

The recital fee is different from the costume payment. The recital fee covers the shoe diamonds, programs, supplies, and so on to bring the recital production to life!

*Bigger productions are subject to 2 recital fees, see newsletter that will be sent as a PDF

What do you focus on in your curriculum?

During the their first year, we focus on the foundational steps of Ballet and Tap while maintaining a fun, stress-free environment for our dancers. We keep the curriculum fun while focusing on basic dance training and terminology. We also pepper in musical theatre & jazz styles in bonus dances throughout the year as fun extras! These styles will be focused on more as dancers level up and improve their skills.

What supplies will my dancer need?

Pink Ballet Shoes &

Black Tap Shoes (ones with the velcro or elastic straps instead of the laces are wonderful!)

*Unless specifically instructed - “No Shoes Necessary”*

Do parents get to observe class?

Our Studio Location has a wonderful viewing balcony where parents are welcome to stay and watch any class. However, watching a class is not permitted in our Parish Program Dance Classes.

*If your dancer is taking dance within their school but you would still like to observe a class, contact us for details on our available extra classes*
